FUTURE PROJECTS

Goltz is currently at work on at least two new books.
The first is tentatively entitled 'Fargo, Farewell: The Memoirs of a Far-Wandered Dakota Boy,' containing mainly dark essays written over the past thirty years on subjects as diverse as ‘shrinking’ a leading New York City psychiatrist for minimum wage (‘Shrunk’) to ruminating on the fate of a doctor in the Damascus hospital where Goltz was recovering from hepatitis; the doctor had been shot down by security on suspicion of being a Muslim fundamentalist (‘Killer Jokes’).
The second WORK IN PROGRESS has the working title of ‘Pipe-dreams,’ AND details the organization and execution of an insane plan to deliver the first barrel of Caspian crude oil to the Mediterranean down the controversial Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan Pipeline, and aboard Soviet-style side-car motorcycles.
